I think I've driven some of these highways when I traveled between Santa Fe and Taos. Quite beautiful, especially to me, as it was my first time in the desert.
Yeah I love the simplicity of the desert. Its really cool too how the sky plays such an important role in any image of the landscape too, unlike all of my photos from New England where it appears more as a sliver or spots in-between trees.
